There once was an elephant beeming with pride
That went by the name "THE CRIMSON TIDE"
He bullied little animals, ripping them to shreds
tearing off their arms, and stomping on their heads.
Tigers, wildcats, and even some hogs
there was a Rebel, and a couple of dawgs
It stomped around, looking for more
until it came upon a barren swamp shore
It dipped it's head to take a little drink
then his eyes grew wide, as he began to sink.
he tried to pull from the mud and the muck
but he sank even faster, pressing his luck
"What's that?" he said and his heart began to fail
for coming through the water, was a mean GATOR tail
First there was one, then two...three..and four
licking their lips at the feast they had in store.
Tide jerked and pulled and tried to get loose
but the GATORS were fast, and it was no use
Sensing his demise, he tried to call for help,
but all that came out was a tiny little "YELP!"
The GATORS chomped him whole, even his hide,
leaving nothing behind of poor CRIMSON TIDE!
